Edgewood Tahoe Resort, Stateline, Nevada
Site Design and Landscape Restoration
Edgewood Resort is located along the shore of Lake Tahoe with part of the site in California and part in Nevada. In this beautiful setting, the resort consists of a George Fazio designed golf course, a clubhouse with uninterrupted views of Lake Tahoe and a Julia Morgan designed cottage. The Master Plan was developed to assess and test the possibility of expanding the services of the resort, providing lodging and updating the golf course.
The primary challenge in this project was creating a plan, which complied with the stringent regulation of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA), and dealing with multi-state regulations.
